Within 7 days in low season, the full deposit is forfeited. High Season including school holidays, Easter & Christmas Periods -requires 28 days cancellation notice or full deposit is forfeited. No Shows - full tariff is charged. Guests who reduce length of stay once in house will not receive a refund on nights booked.  All pre booked tours as part of special packages that are not taken, will be refunded less a 20% admin and cancellation fee.  Dear School Leavers, Unfortunately we do not have the policies, procedures or resources to accommodate the unique needs of school leavers during the annual Schoolies Festival. In particular we do not have adequate resources to engage qualified security personnel to guarantee the safety, comfort and convenience of our guests during this period. For this reason we reserve the right to reject bookings from school and/or university leavers for the schoolies period. If you still choose to book your accommodation through us and it turns out that you are school and/or university leavers, your booking will be cancelled NO refund will be given. Plaza Port Douglas has a zero party policy and reserves to rights to extends this policy to any guests that behave inappropriately. Noise from music, conversation, door closing or any other source within the building or on balconies must be kept to a reasonable level not to disturb other guests. We ask you to please go in off your balcony and close the doors after 10.00Pm. If you are disturbed by an unacceptable noise or other behaviour, please contact reception.
