ISLAND FACILITIES –

From the Marina to Catseye Beach is just a short  5 minute stroll or buggy ride.  Here all resort facilities are for everyone’s use -  even if you are renting the house.  Don’t forget to look out for the activity ‘happy hours’ !
A daily activities itinerary is available from the resort and include snorkelling, diving, catamaran sailing, sea kayaking adventures, sailing, jet skiing, tube riding for the kids, mini golf for the family, go karting, target sports, breakfast  with the koalas, bingo by the pool,  gym workouts, beach volleyball, or even some trivia. 
 But if all this looks too exhausting you can just pull up a deck  bed, relax by the pool and read that book you’ve been meaning to finish or simply enjoy  a drink at the swim-up bar .  
For the more energetic, there is always a bushwalk along the many trails, where you can discover the breathtaking views or even rest on one of the many secluded beaches.  As more than 80% of Hamilton Island is natural  tropical bushland, home to Australian lorikeets, cockatoos, wallabies and possums, it is perfect for taking a bushwalk to discover some of these Whitsunday wonders!

DINING

With the marina and resort only minutes away, there are over 16 restaurants and takeaway outlets to choose, including a bakery, fish and chip shop, Marina Tavern, pizza and even an ice creamery.  You can enjoy a cappuccino at the Marina Deli or some of the freshest seafood and a superb sunset dinner at Beaches Restaurant .  There are dinner cruises and a selection of  Italian and Chinese restaurants to make your holiday memorable.
Toucan Tango Café & Bar has a wonderful range of children’s meals and  is great value for the whole family.
A general store is available for most food items as is the Bakery for bread and light snacks..
However, nothing is stopping you from bringing your own food onto the island, except for baggage restrictions.  There are 2 fridges in the house so plenty of room for storage of your food and drink.
For families, on-line shopping is also available from Woolworths at Cannonvale and IGA at Airlie Beach. Both stores will deliver your goods to the house, and IGA will even take orders with cold and perishable included e.g. meat and salads. A barbeque on the deck is the perfect way to soak in the view , so come on  - are your bags packed!

Your tour to Bali Hai starts and finishes with an exciting 45 minute jet boat ride across the Whitsunday Passage on board Fantasea Cruisin, a luxury Naiad jet boat.  No expense has been spared in making Cruisin the most superior boat of its type in the region with onboard facilities including a toilet.  Relax on leather seats with a customised layout designed for panoramic views, fresh air and your comfort and viewing pleasure.  We specialise in small groups and carry a maximum of 32 passengers for a personalised, fun experience.

Whilst at Bali Hai, see the amazing fringing reef and underwater world first hand for yourself.  Bali Hai is the ultimate snorkelling destination sheltered from most weather conditions making it ideal for all ages and abilities.  Snorkel in the shallow waters near the beach or for the more adventurous, explore deeper water at the edge of the fringing coral reef.  All snorkelling gear including quality masks and snorkels, sterilised mouth pieces, fins, buoyancy vests and stinger suits are included.  If you don't wish to snorkel, spend some time exploring the island or simply relax on the beach...you decide!
Fantasea operates the only half day tours in the region visiting this location, making it ideal for anyone who wants to explore the Whitsunday islands, view a fringing reef and snorkel in only half a day, with both morning and afternoon departures available from Airlie Beach.
