Excellent facilities - loved the indoor and outdoor spas, the swim up deck, the whole fit-out of everything!! It's all so well planned and thought out. The view of the blue pool from our room was just the best. It doesn't matter what time of the year we come or what the weather is doing, it's always such a pleasure to stay!! An extremely well managed appartment hotel. The one bedroom appartment was immaculate and I couldn't fault it.

Excellent accommodation and very friendly and helpful staff. Would certainly stay again and would recommend to anyone we know who is going to Port Douglas.

My boyfriend and I stayed in Pool Deck room on the ground floor which was amazing. The room wasn't really big but had everything we needed and was just the right size really. We had an outdoor table and chair to sit on as well as our lounge chair on our private pool deck. Given the heat/humidity in TNQ having a pool at the tip of yours toes is a great addtion to your experience. The room was modern and clean and had everything we needed. We had direct access to a washer and dryer outside our door which we shared with the apartment next to us. Shantara is in a great location near the main street and beach, about a 4 minute walk to both. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay comfortable and assisted us n organising our tranfers to Palm Cove and to the Reef. We stayed here for 3 nights and next time I would like to stay for longer as it felt like 5 star luxury. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone, particularly couples! 5 *****
