We had been at Shantara for 3 days without our luggage (lost in Sydney airport) and were scheduled to leave the next morning. The owners were prepared with our itinerary to forward our luggage to our next destination if it arrived after we departed. Fortunately our luggage arrived at 8 pm the night before we departed Shantara. Can't overstate how caring and personable the owners and Anna were to us. They made a bad situation turn out good. Highly recommend Shantara.

I stayed here with my fiance over the easter break and loved every bit of it. We received a bottle of champagne as we were celebrating our recent engagement. The room was clean and offered privacy. We stayed in the Shantara apartment room which gave us direct access to the pool which was great for a late night swim and they provided plastic glasses that you can take outside. We also had a spa in the bathroom and outdoor jacuzzi which was amazing. Highly reccommend Shantara and we will definately be back!

Merilyn and I had a great time at Shantara Resort. The facilities were excellent and the staff were very helpful. We had a great time in Port Douglas and highly recommend the resort to all. Regards, Michael and Merilyn
