Absolutely beautiful...I spent 4 days feeling like a princess. Cant wait to go back!

We got married in port douglas and chose Shantara as our accommodation. I'm so glad we did choose Shantara as I cannot fault the room we stayed in or the resort. It was such a quiet resort, you hardly noticed any other people staying there which made our stay very relaxing. The staff were very helpful and always willing to help with any queries. Also Shantara is a short walk to the town centre and the beach which was also very convenient. We can't wait until we can visit port douglas again and stay at Shantara.

Enjoyed the distance to the town centre, great pool and the outdoor cooking facilities were a bonus. Staff were very helpful and loved that our balcony opened up straight into the pool. Great resort and was a very welcome break to the South Australian winter!

Shantara was like heaven for us. My boyfriend and I enjoyed a fabulous getaway over Anzac weekend. The rooms were perfect and overlooking the pool, close to all the great restaurants, beach and also had its own great amenities with a BBQ area and a spa where we enjoyed a top class massage by a highly qualified sports massage therapist. The staff were very accommodating, booking us trips, making recommendations and booking our return coach for the airport. An ideal location, in a beautiful part of Queenland, reasonably priced and a great location for a romantic and relaxing getaway. Would highly recommend.

My daughter and I had a fabulous time. All staff, especially Marianna & Jess, were very hospitable and caring. The resort had a beautiful views from all rooms. The room we stayed in was spotless and had all necessary facilities. Great location and central to all amenities. Looking forward to another holiday at the resort.

A great place to relax in Port Douglas. Quiet, close to shops and beach, and very well appointed apartment. Loved the Japanese style privacy screens, the louvres on external windows, spa bath and the light and airy apartment.

Amazing. professional, friendly, clean, safe, 1 block from main shopping and restaurants. Surrounds are kept well. Pools are inviting. Wonderful and helpful staff.

Absolutely beautiful and relaxing trip! Our first time away together and we felt so spoilt to almost always have the pool and decks to ourselves! (NO KIDS!!) The room was stunning and clean and the recommendations from Kay were great. Everything is walking distance (marina, shops, restaurants) and we struggled to fault it and will be considering Shantara if we are lucky enough to visit Port Douglas again! Thanks so much :)

We were very impressed with every aspect of this resort. Rooms were well configured and very clean. More than one tea-towel would have been appreciated--- only a small point. I am a bit of a manic when it comes to clean clothes and having a washer/dryer so handy to our room was great----- also the little touch of a clothes airer to put on the terrace--- great.Said terrace was also good for having outdoor meals with a table and chairs provided The proximity of walking to the beach and shops was very much a plus, as we had no vehicle. If we get the opportunity we will definitely return to Shantara. Thanks for a relaxing stay. Enjoyed my facial at the Spa on site.
