From the moment we arrived to the time we left we were so impressed with the beauty of this resort. Each room is so private and well-appointed making such a lovely place for a quiet retreat. The two pools are spectacular and so convenient no matter where the position of your room is. The gardens are superb and the cleanliness of the resort is beyond words. The staff are so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable if booking a tour. We were totally spoilt with complimentary wine for our anniversary. Thanks to the staff at Shantara Resort for a totally magical few days away. We will definitely be back!!

Lovely surrounds. Well presented room even though on the small side. Staff (particularly Amanda) very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Relaxing holiday. Great location. So much to do!

We stayed 10nights in a one bedroom swim up room and could have stayed longer as the room was perfect and being able to walk out on to our patio and then into the pool was great. Because children are discouraged the room being next to the pool was pleasant and very quiet. Highly recommend the Shantara Resort and we will return. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and the staff was very helpful, especially Amanda. Tropical Storm Nathan arrived the same day we did. Unfortunately it canceled any chance at seeing the Great Barrier Reef. Amanda kept in touch with vendors and helped us arrange other activities as well as call ahead to reaffirm our travel arrangements, taking much stress out of what otherwise would have been a much more stressful stay.

Great location, beautiful setting, friendly staff, clean rooms with a comfortable bed, the studio room with it's own private pool deck with access straight into the pool was fantastic. Secure underground parking. We spent 6 nights here & enjoyed every minute.

We were extremely pleased with our accommodations! The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. The apt was lovely, well equipped and clean. We would definitely stay again.
