We loved our stay at Shantara right from entering the reception area. The friendliness and helpfulness of all staff was fantastic. The rooms were so clean, comfortable and conducive to relaxing. We loved the pool in the middle of the apartments. We will definitely be letting our travel agent friends know

Staff, location the resort was fantastic. Weather absolutely stunning. Staff went out of their way to help locate our mobile phone that was left on the transfer bus.which is greatly appreciated.

Beautiful and thoughtful laid out studio apartment, your attention to detail is wonderful from the lovely robes to the china dinner service. I loved the BBQ area and had a wonderful kilo of fresh prawns from the harbour cooked on it. The little extras like the plastic wine glasses to take to the pool and the beautiful fragrent soaps - I just could not stop smelling them! Your wonderful friendly staff all contributed to a relaxing time instead of being in our hot camper van! An oasis in the middle of our holiday! Thank you so much.

We had a fantastic time at the shantara resort! Our stay was very welcomed by friendly staff and willing to attend to every need to support our comfort. We are very sad to have recently left, and wish we stayed longer! There was an issue with the room we were staying in, and shantara staff quickly acted to make our stay wonderful. 10/10 defiantly wish we could go back !! Highly recommend. Nathan + Michelle

Very nice place, convenient.

This is really a place to relax and enjoy Port Douglas. Within a short walking distance to shops and beach, Shantara is perfectly positioned. The one bedroom apartments are very nicely appointed and the pool environment, sans children, relaxing and inviting. This is definitely a place worth putting on the list when planning a stay in Port Douglas.

We rate Shantara Resort very highly. It was top in all the ratings and we would definitely stay there again and will certainly recommend the resort to family & friends.

We have just returned from out 5 night stay at the Shantara, 1 bedroom pool deck. We had agenda this holiday and that was to relax, chill out and have a good time, and that we did. The Shantara is lovely, clean and very quiet. Reception staff were very helpful. Would definitely return and recommend to others. We absolutely loved it.
