WHAT CAN WE SAY BUT OMG!!!!!!! WE FELL IN LOVE WITH THE RESORT. MAGICAL, RELAXING, A PARADISE WITHIN A PARADISE. SO INSANELY CLEAN AND FRESH, THE POOLS ARE SPARKLING AND PRISTINE. THE ENTRANCE TO RECEPTION IS JAW OPENING. MAJESTIC COMES TO MIND. AIRCONDITONED ROOM OVERLOOKING THE POOL. SITTING ON OUR BALCONY EVERY MORNING FOR BREAKFAST WAS SO SURREAL. WE WERE IN HEAVEN. AMANDA AND DORSEE AT RECEPTION ARE AMAZING LADIES WHO GO THE EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA MILE TO ADVISE YOU-HELP YOU AND ARRANGE FOR YOU TO HAVE THE BEST HOLIDAY EXPERIENCE YOU CAN ACHIEVE FOR THE BUDGET YOU HAVE. I DO HAVE TO SAY A HUGE THANK YOU TO BRETT AND DAVE FOR THE KURANDA TOUR..... AMAZING BLOKES WITH A FANTASTIC SENSE OF HUMOUR. LOVED THEM. IF WE HAD THE TIME ERIC AND I WOULD HAVE DONE THE CHEESE AND WINE TOUR WITH BRETT. WOULDNT HESITATE TO RECOMEND SHANTARA OR BRETTS TOURS......... EVEN DOWN TO HOUSE KEEPING STAFF.... SO POLITE AND FRIENDLY, LAID BACK AND NOTHING IS A BOTHER. TOWELS, SHAMPOOS, SUGAR EVEN DOWN TO A CHANGE OF LIGHT BULB IN MY LAMP. MY HIGHLIGHT WAS WATCHING THE LITTLE SKINKS DARTING IN AND OUT OF THE FOLIGE PLAYING HIDE AND SEEK. VERY CUTE TO SEE. (CORNY I KNOW.... ITS THE LITTLE THINGS THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE). LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF OUR STAY AND CANNOT WAIT TO COME BACK TO THE RESORT AGAIN. SO AGAIN THANK YOU AMANDA, DORSEE AND EVERYONE WHO HELPED MAKE OUR HOLIDAY A MEMORABLE ONE.... We had an amazing time at Shantara in Port Douglas. The staff was so helpful and friendly and did everything in order to make our stay an incredible one. We loved our room and the deck off the pool. It was so quiet and relaxing. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone.

Everything was more than satisfactory. Amanda on reception was extremely helpful and informative

What a delightful place to stay. Loved our room and the convenience of the kitchenette. Within walking distance of town where we ate in 3 of the recommended restaurants Really appreciated the bottle of sparkling wine given to us to celebrate our anniversary too. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Port Douglas

From the moment I walked in, Shantara staff were attentive, lovely and so helpful! The gorgeous resort was even more beautiful than I could have imagined. My own private swim up deck was perfect - and no kids made the time spent in the pool incredibly relaxing! An amazing experience and I can't wait to go back again!

Beautiful resort, friendly helpful staff. So close to the main shopping precinct and the beach. Just damn lovely 👍🏼😊

Stayed 5 nights as a couple. Arrived to have cold water already in the fridge and the aircon on in the room already so all we had to do was unpack and jump into pool right off the private deck. The shantara resort is spectacular, its luxurious,very quiet and a great location. The staff can''t do enough for you to make your stay enjoyable. We were very very sad to leave. We will most definitely be coming back!

What a fantastic place to stay in Port Douglas! Close to town, close to the Marina, 2 gorgeous pools and no kids! We stayed in the Pool View 1 bedroom apartment which was great. The staff were so friendly and helpful and made bookings for the Daintree Wonder Tour (which was excellent) and the Sky Rail for us. We will definitely stay there again!

I would not hesitate to stay at the Shantara if in the area again.

Our 8 night stay here was perfect, couldn''t be happier, with the friendly staff, beautiful pool areas, the room was modern and clean.. we reluctantly came home..
