Friendly and extremely helpful staff, great location, 5 minute walk to beach and main street. Good comfortable facilities.

Our overall experience was wonderful from when we first checked-in until check-out. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful particularly with organising a reef tour. Location was fantastic just a short walk to the main street, marina or beach. Would stay here again given the opportunity.

Shantara is a very clean and comfortable resort, that is very private and quiet. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and very obliging, they could not do enough to make my stay comfortable. All questions were answered that I asked, regarding tours, restaurants, what to find in town etc. I would highly recommend this resort.

We had a lovely time. Rooms were spacious and clean. The over all appearance of the complex was amazing. Walking distance to town, shopping, groceries and the beach.

We absolutely loved this couples only resort. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Amanda even stayed on after hours to welcome us personally and make sure we were O.K. Our poolside view apartment was delightful, spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff were happy to make recommendations for restaurants etc. and to confirm our trip bookings. We found Port Douglas to be a very relaxed yet interesting place, whether you just wanted to chill out, take a stroll along Four Mile Beach, go snorkelling on the Reef or enjoy any of the variety of bars and restaurants. We loved Shantara so much that we renamed it our 'Shangrila'.

This was our second stay and we loved it just as much as the first time. Helpful staff, great location and a fantastic pool access room!! We will be back!!

The resort itself is ideally placed in town to walk everywhere however there is plenty of transport! The rsleaort sraff rwcommended our tours and we couldn't of been more happy with everything recommended! In Port Douglas you can spend as much or as little as you like! Best honeymoon, holiday- hope you choose Shantara also!

Once again we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shantara . Our accommodation beautifully clean ,the kitchen well stocked with a wide range and plenty of kitchen utensils . We look forward to staying at Shantara again . We would highly recommend Shantara
