This is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy everything that Port Douglas has to offer. It is easy walking distance to the beach and to the shops and restaurants in Macrossan Street. The service is friendly and helpful and I look forward to returning.

We had an outstanding 5 days staying at Shantara. Our studio apartment was clean, comfortable and exceptionally well equipped. The staff were exemplary in looking after us, making sure our excursions were booked and advising us on where to eat and what to do. We will not hesitate to return.

A beautiful place for couples to stay. Everything you need is provided for and the service provided by Samantha and Amanda was fantastic. No hesitation to book tours and transfers and always treated with a smile and hello. Location was perfect as it was central to everything. Amenities were great and everything was clean. The pool is beautiful and it was great having our private deck and even better no children! Highly recommended

Beautiful, quiet resort spotlessly clean & beautifully manicured gardens. Pool area is fabulous, great BBQ facilities. Wonderful 4 night stay. Would love to return for another stay.

The staff are welcoming, the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The barbecue area is always clean and ready to use and the choice of 2 pools is another bonus. The location so close to the main street and restaurants is excellent, the ability leave the car in the secure car park and walk everywhere is perfect.

We holiday yearly at many different locations Australia and O/S. This accommodation is up there with the best. I couldn''''t fault any aspect. Thank you.

Staying at the Shantara Resort was such a tranquil and relaxing experience. The view from our balcony was stunning; so lovely to wake up to palm trees! The room was a very convenient size and we had all that we needed for an easy holiday. The staff were very welcoming and professional. We will definitely be back (we love Port Douglas!!)

Fabulous, intimate, tranquil and relaxing. Perfectly located easy walk to the Marina and shopping/dining strip. Highly recommended.
