The Shantara Resort was fantastic, it being my first solo trip I throughly enjoyed my stay. i found the staff extremely helpful with all my inquires. Can not speak highly enough about my stay and I didn''''t want leave to come home. Keep up the great work and i''''ill be back soon.

My wife and I have just returned from our stay at Shantara Port Douglas and I have to say we had the most fabulous time. The apartment we chose was the boutique Shantara apartment with direct pool access, private balcony, and your very own Jacuzzi. I have stayed at dozens of top hotels around the world and this was easily the quietest and most relaxing. The direct pool access was so convenient and we used the pool numerous times every day as a result. No going up and down stairs or getting into lifts dripping wet! I booked this resort in celebration of our 10 year wedding anniversary and when we arrived they had prepared us a complimentary bottle of Champagne as a gift with a personalised note of congratulations. The fact that it has a no young children policy was brilliant too and it made for a really quiet relaxing adult setting. I cannot recommend Shantara highly enough.

My wife and i had a five night stay found the staff to be very helpful . They helped organize day trips to all attractions booked to our room, through to checking us in for our plane trip home .We found the facilities very comfatable great pools and resort being a comfortable strole to town .All this made a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday HIGHLY RECOMENDED

Excellent will recomend to friends re being a quiet space without children.

We stayed at Shantara for our honeymoon, and experienced the most relaxing and luxurious of resorts. The facilities were super clean and well kept, service was amazing and the massage fantastic. Thank you.

Had a very enjoyable stay at Shantara. The staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. Highly recommended for adults, without young kids.

My husband and I arrived 27th Jan and left two amazing weeks later. Our 1 bedroom pool deck studio room was more than adequate for us. Open the door to our deck, slip into the (child free!! ) pool and just float or swim in a tropical garden paradise. A glass of wine on the deck, swimming at night, in the rain....I could live at the Shantara. The staff were friendly and helpful with local knowledge and Samantha is an outstanding receptionist. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she was always smiling. Thank you Sam. Xx the Shantara is central enough for a short walk to Macrossan street, where all the action is, yet far enough away to be very peaceful. The staff are extremely courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They sorted out any queries we had and nothing was ever too much trouble. If we ever return to Port Douglas, we will definitely book the Shantara resort again. Especially the pool deck studio, great to have access straight into the pool.
