We loved our week in your resort. I am very fusy about places being clean, your resort is the cleaness place I have ever stayed. I have recommended it to many friends. We have stayed there twice now. Love Port Douglas very relaxing walking on the beach . Going to LowIsles snorkelling.

We chose this resort based on the fact that it is suited to couples, but found it had much more to offer. It is located within an easy walk to the main shopping and eating areas and is only a short walk to the beach and marina. Everything is within reach, but it is a quiet sanctuary. The resort is clean and comfortable and beautifully presented. One feature that made my holiday easier, (being the one who has to manage laundry when travelling), there is a washing machine and dryer provided for each pair of rooms. Located just outside the door to your apartment, the laundry facilities are a definite plus. We would highly recommend Shantara Resort and stay there again if ever we get back to Port Douglas. My husband and I stayed here for a week and it was wonderful. A beautiful adults only resort in a great position close to town only a 5min walk away. When you enter the resort you walk into a tropical haven. The apartments are very well appointed with everything you need. The staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. When next we visit Port Douglas we will stay here again. Highly recommended

My husband and I have been to Shantara twice and both times we thought it was amazing. We loved it so much the first time that we bought a week long trip for my parents 50th birthday so they could experience it too!

We stayed at Shantara a couple of years ago and have been eager to get back for another break, we found the staff friendly, the room (Pool access) clean and fresh and even though we changed our booking to arrive earlier in the day, the staff accomodated us really well...We cant wait to go agin

Stayed at Shantara for four nights and was a lovely resort break. Immaculate facilities, used the gym and the pool. Staff were very considerate and helpful and loved the adults only environment. Great to have a break from our kids and everyone elses. Would highly recommend.

We have returned to Shantara Resort & Spa twice. Each visit has been as enjoyable. The facilities are modern, & are immaculately maintained. The staff are very friendly & assist readily with tourist advice. Shantara Resort is well located close to all local attractions, restaurants & shopping. We would welcome returning in the near future.

We come up for a friends wedding and stayed at your resort. From the moment we arrived the service was absolutely amazing! By the end of it the people on the desk knew our names, said good morning, helps us organise tours etc! We loved everything about port Douglas and its the only place we felt relaxed the whole time. Then coming back after a day out to a nice clean facility and the amazing pools was just what we needed! It was also a great place to stay as it was within walking distance to the Main Street which made things alot easier. Another plus was that you can get massages here at the resort!! Thank you once again for everything and all the service that was provided :)

Shantara is a beautiful peaceful romantic place to stay in the gorgeous Port Douglas, if you are looking for a respite from crazy, this is it..if you are looking for a rekindling of romance..this is it, we had our 10 year anniversary here and we just chilled and enjoyed ourselves so much we didn't want to leave..we also received a complimentary bottle of champagne for our anniversary. The service was great the pool just devine, you could mingle with other guest if you chose or you could keep to yourself..just perfect.. Well done Shantara very well set up..
