Shantara is the ideal accommodation whilst you are in Port Douglas. It is close to shops, dining, beach everything. Rooms are clean, comfortable and the staff even better. Will definitely stay here again

We stayed at Shantara in March this year for 7 nights. My partner and I loved every minute of it. We chose to pay a little extra for a room with direct pool access and we were not disappointed! The room was modern and exceptionally clean. The staff members were also very friendly. Port Douglas is such a beautiful location, we will definitely be returning. Our favorite experiences were jungle surfing in the Daintree rainforest and having dinner at On the Inlet. We hope to return soon!

Stayed 7 nights in August 2013. Fab locaiton, right in the centre of things. Great apartment. Looked at some alterative properties while we were there, but Shantara has it all. Our 1 bed apartment on the second floor was just perfect. Would certainly return for another visit.

Our stay was for two weeks we had the most relaxing stay everything was perfect rooms made up daily with such lovely ladies, customer service could not fault, we had the pool to ourselves for most of our stay so close to town. We will definitely be staying with you again such a beautiful and peaceful resort with amazing service our entire stay.

I was recommend by a travel agent to stay at Shantara Resort and she convinced me after some hesitation! She told me that I wouldn''t regret it..... From the moment we arrived to the day we left, the service was fantastic and the room itself was just brilliant. This was one of our favourite holidays we''ve been on. So many good memories! Highly recommended for couples! The photos are the tours that the staff at Shantara organised for us! From snorkeling to hot air ballooning, just brilliant!

We would definitely visit Shantara again and will do so as soon as possible. The location is perfect close to the the restaurant strip and main centre. We were able to walk to many of the attractions. The resort was very quiet and peaceful. It has amazing pools and loved that we could access the pool from our deck.

what a wonderful getaway a short walk to the main strip, beach and tourist areas. The accomadation was great and clean and best of all quiet!!!
