We really enjoyed our stay here. The beds are so comfortable and the rooms are spacious and bright. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and the it was nice to walk out onto the pool area straight from our room.We will definitely stay here again if we ever get up to Port Douglas again!

Enjoyed our stay,just too short.This was our 3rd stay with you. Loved the room we had and next time will try to remember to request this room. I thought there may have been traffic noise being in the front but it was not noticeable. We will be back.

A very welcoming team at the Shantara I WOULD go back and stay again rooms where very clean and tidy even cleaned them mid week with us staying for a week

Amanda at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and tidy. The location was only 10 minutes walk from the heart of Port Douglas. The 2 pools were very nice and the water was warm but too shaded for this time of the year. Of course the shading would not be a problem later in the year when it is hotter.

We had a great stay. Location was perfect, easy stroll to restaurants, beach shopping. Peaceful at night, beautiful pools and comfortable beds. Thanks for a great break.

2nd time we have stayed in a pool deck room. We love the heated pools, adults only policy, peace & quietness, central location to beach, shops and restaurants and cleanliness of the whole Resort.

My husband and I have stayed at shantara 3 times and every time we have found that the rooms are always fresh clean and very tidy. The service is always great we can''t pick on any thing at all.the resort is situated in a great position it''s walking distance to all the shops and great restaurants. We love the idea of it being a couples only resort with no children, we couldn''t ask for a better place to stay when we visit port Douglas.

Total relaxation, we had a studio room which had a kitchenette. We used the pools and bbq facilities. Shantara is just a short stroll to Macrossan Street and Four Mile Beach. Shantara felt open and inviting, not too big and not too small, just right.

Enjoyed a wonderful 7 night stay in apartment 5A, enjoyed sunny afternoons on our own poolside deck and evenings relaxing in the spa pool. Thoroughly recommend Shantara for anyone wanting a peaceful adult only escape. As it was my birthday the management treated us to a complimentary bottle of Aussie bubbles. We would love to return again one day.
