Great resort would recommend a 1bedroom pool deck over the studio. Wifi was also a little hit and miss sometimes

would have no issues recommending your place to anyone

Exceptional place to spend some downtime. Great facilities, clean, close to everything, very quiet, no kids. Staff very unobtrusive but a wealth of information when required. Wish we were still there.

The only drawback for us was we booked a studio room which we found too small , otherwise loved it so quiet and relaxing , beautiful surroundings and location was great. Would definitely stay again but choose a one bedroom.

What a fantastic place to stay in Port Douglas! Close to town, close to the Marina, close to beach, 2 gorgeous pools on site along with an undercover BBQ area. Our 1 bedroom apartment was well set out and extremely comfortable and clean. The washing machine and dryer (shared with the room next to us) was great. Staff were very friendly. We can''t wait to come back and will be suggesting Shantara to our friends.

What a bonus of being a child free apartment building. Terrific facilities, very clean and extremely well cared for( a credit to the owner/managers) and fantastic staff. Super location within walking distance to town restaurants, the marina and a quick drive to a great golf course. Shantara was everything we had hoped for and more. Staying in Shantara resort for during my holiday trip on 20th june - 27th June. Greeted by lovely couple Owner, process of checking in was very fast, the room was ready even we came earlier than the check in time, so We can have a rest in the room and continue look around for food! had a complimentary housekeeping service on our 3rd day of staying which is nice! overall we are happy to stay in Shantara resort and will look forward to stay here again on our next visit! Thank you very much Shantara Resort's Team to make our holiday enjoyable!

Lovely and quiet, within walking distance to everything, including beach and marina. Very helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable apartment. Beautiful pool area and well kept garden surrounds. overall a great stay!
